With the limited discourse I've seen around this, it seems like this may have been a bit of a surprise for the fans. I'm not positive. Don't quote me on that. But that's okay. Hello, once again, Oneus. It's good to see you again. Also, it looks like they did five member versions of their songs for this album, which is nice so that the fans have the option of listening to either the original song or the one that they'll be performing now.

Those are some smooth instrumentals with some surprising instruments and rests to disrupt the general rhythm of the instrumentals. Just when you think you have a handle on what's going to happen next, something shifts and it gets thrown off a little. Fascinating that it's been done this way. I've mentioned that I have a specific definition of R&B in my head before, and this song matches that very well, especially the beginning. I love the use of the guitar, which does fade a little bit in use through the song but declares itself strongly and boldly at the beginning. It does feel a little like the opening instrumentals belong to a different song than what we get from the rest of it, but the two parts are at least in the vicinity of the same genre, so it's not something I'm going to be too nit-picky about.

I'm actually really pleased with myself for being able to identify some of their voices. I don't know most of their names, but I am able to attach the voices to the nicknames I gave them, so that's fun. They have a very melodic voices going on here, and just when you are pulled into the tones and timbres that matches a lot of other groups that are contemporaries with Oneus, you get smacked in the ears with a low rumble of a voice. It's genuinely a beautiful surprise. They could do some fantastic full-group harmonies. We get some version of that in the song, but I think the most we get is three, not five. Also, an unfortunate side effect of this song is that I found myself being lulled to sleep. It's not a good or a bad thing, really. It's just a thing that is.

Okay, well, I'm in love with the costuming. Wow. Holy Toledo. I was getting horror vibes off just the song, but I assumed it was because I'd just been listening to Dreamcatcher and thinking about VIXX, so I didn't mention it. But when you've got vampire styling and zombie-esque extras, the horror vibes are undeniable. Also, it's not often you get a dance break in the middle of a music video that isn't in the original song, but that's actually pretty cool. And he's a gorgeous dancer, so it's a 1+1.
