Just A Little Fangirl Love

  Honestly, I wasn't expecting there to be any wins this week, and the one win we got made me laugh when I saw it, not because it was ridiculous that the song would be getting wins, but because that song is months old. I honestly was not expecting that. Truly. Good for the fans, though. And good for Music Bank for being so consistent.  If you're new to these, posts, welcome! We're down to five music shows in a week with the loss of The Show, which I am still bitter about, and I'm resisting that number and the injustice to the smaller, younger groups by sharing extra stages.  So I handed up Up & Down to the LEGGOs over on Reddit, and one of them gave me a list of (checking my playlist where I keep track of all my suggestions) four more that they really liked. I already did one on Every Night , and I feel bad about taking so long to get through the list. So, before I get to the next one from The Form (which will be by F.T Island, by the way), I'm just going to do one of those suggestions. Love the enthusiasm from that fan, by the way. Way to keep the group love alive. I am all about that. Plus, EXID is one of my 2012 groups that I'm fond of because of their debut year. 2012 was a good year for K-Pop. It hadn't gotten super saturated yet (the uptick in debuts had only happened a few years earlier) and a lot of them ended up being fairly successful, at least for a few years.  I'm calling this a title track because it was a single, even though the version two wasn't a title track on the album it ended up going on. Thank you to the fan over on Reddit for suggesting this one. You also gave me a few others that I put into my "To Do" playlist so that I have that organized and I won't forget to do it (that playlist is also where I put anything that gets submitted from The Form , fun fact, so don't worry about it getting lost somewhere or me forgetting) Okay, some basic facts about this song. It's actually a rearrangement of their song, Call , from their first mini album, HIPPITY HOP. Written by member LE and produced by LE and Shinsadong Tiger, it looks like it did fairly well on the charts, although unfortunately it didn't get any wins.  Whooee, it's been a long 164 days, hasn't it? What do you mean it's only the end of January?  Nope. I'm staying focused. Eyes on the prize. In this case, the prize is the end of December when Minhyun is discharged. So, one month down. Eleven to go. We're also one month closer to several other discharges that will help distract me from the wait, and one month closer to some post-military comebacks that I am absolutely most excited for. And there's one coming out next month that I believe was the first one I was aware of to enlist. But this is January! A little bit of a slow start to the year, but I'm appreciating the pace as I get back into things and recover from my cold.  We had only two group debuts that I could find, that of KickFlip out of JYPE and Stray Kids' younger brothers, considering I think they're in the same division. I'm also hoping this is a good sign and the number of debuting groups will drop this year. Fingers crossed. And als...

 I was actually really excited to get this suggestion via The Form, because this song has apparently been sitting in my Junk Drawer for ages, which means that I get to clean out the playlist a little. That feels a little illegal, but who cares? Thank you, dear suggester, for giving me an excellent excuse to move a song out of that unwieldy playlist. They also directed me towards a fan cam from Music Bank  for this song and mentioned that it was the reason they got into the group at all, so I'm excited to see what this fan-inducing fan cam was. You can get some incredible shots on fan cams, and I love them because they're usually the raw audio that's been unaltered by the program or agency to make the groups sound better.
