Just A Little Fangirl Love

Release date: 2025 November 05 Album tracklist: MAID, CYNICAL , Sweet nightmare, DDU DDU, Mini skirt, Tuberse, Bass(ad), BLUE! , Balloon in Love, Happy af, Walking at 2am, Bath, A long long night Album runtime: 34 minutes   I’m a little surprised that this is only Sunmi’s first full album because Wonder Girls disbanded over a K-Pop contract ago (2017). I mean, this is her career and obviously she felt like this was the right time to release her first full album. It’s just a little curious, you know? But, whatever. We support a vocal queen in this house. The runtime is too short though. Not a super fan of this. It would be too short for a twelve song album. But for thirteen? And the title track is barely more than two-and-a-half. Although. To be fair. Two of those songs are a minute or under. On the other hand, only five of those songs are over three minutes, three of them barely. So. There's that. Still, I am intrigued by that four minute song she's got at the end, so I'm g...

I also had to delete like half of this review before I could post it because the amount of nonsense and spinning around in circles that my brain produces that it thinks makes sense when I'm too tired is both hilarious and irritating. Of course things result in results.  Goodness. The song is surprisingly upbeat for what I suspect to be devastating lyrics. It feels delightfully familiar while also feel...

Release date: 2018 September 04 Album tracklist: ADDICT, Siren , Curve, Black Pearl, Gashina , Heroine , Secret Tape Album runtime: 20 minutes  This, dear reader, was submitted into The Form as a regular review, and I saw it when I went looking for my next GH or BBS post. Thank you very much!! I think I'll add a paragraph at the end of the review to dedicate to the fangirling as this was a submission and whoever the submitter was (thank you!!) was lovingly verbose about it, so I'll return the favor.  Wonder Girls is a second gen girl group active for ten years until they disbanded in 2017. Like several of their generational predecessors, the group had several lineup changes, including when Sunmi left the group to pursue her acting career, though she did rejoin it later and stay through the end of the group's lifespan. Heroine is the second of the singles that ultimately became pre-releases for this album, Warning, released in 2018. Also, my dude Teddy had a hand in the lyr...
