But, we're going to focus on him for the moment, not the group. this is Golden Child's leader and part of the '93 line, along with Suga, Taemin, Aron, Peniel, and D.O. And! It's his solo debut! Congrats to him! This song starts off so softly, but it's a lovely bright soft. The song gets a little more complexity once the vocals start up, added heft and solidness but nothing particularly overpowering. If this isn't in the comfort category of songs, I'll be deeply surprised because this is hitting me right in the Seventeen vocal unit and "almost everything by BTOB" spot in my brain. While ...

 What is up! I completely spaced out needing to do this, and time both has no meaning and is soup. Little nerdy D&D reference there for you. Warm you up for the fun times. Album runtime: 13 minutes  In my quest for Halloween songs, I came across the group's music video for Burn It . No spoilers, but that's a full movie, and y'all need to see it. Anyway. Joochan is a busy beaver. Multiple musicals, several OSTs, radio DJ. He is very active, and it's really rather impressive. This isn't his debut (he's actually on year 7 of being a soloist), but I do really like Golden Child and want to make sure to highlight them. I may not know any of their names (except for Joochan now), but when I run across their music, I expect to like it. And I usually do. So, the run time looks good, but the title track is under three minutes. It's a hilarious contrast to the other two songs on the single, which are both nearly four minutes long.  This instrumental had me physically bopping and bobbing to it alm...

  Three of the Big 4 are represented this week in the music show wins, but they're not the only ones, which is also cool. I like diversity in an ecosystem because that indicates healthiness for the ecosystem. We've got a couple of first song wins, which is delightful for all of us, and mostly them because those wins are important. And I was waiting for one of those songs to get a win. Also, I couldn't be happier about Close Your Eyes for getting a second (very well deserved in my opinion, that album is amazing and incredible) just about two weeks after debut. Whoo!
