Just A Little Fangirl Love

  So many first wins for songs, and, I think we may have a first win for a group? I think so? If that's the case, then an even bigger congrats!  I miss back when After School Club was active (yes, I'm still in denial) because then I didn't have to pick an artist. And then I didn't miss seeing those three every week. It was nice getting to see what Aron is up to. Sigh. Don't let my melancholy stop you from enjoying Ep. 576 from back in 2023, featuring ATBO, though! For The Show, I went with Cravity (and it was actually my first time hearing that song; whoever is doing the ad-libs there at the end, yowza) in 2020. I grabbed three extra stages for y'all this week. The eternal hope I possess is a little irritating sometimes, but when it pays off, it usually pays off well. And there isn't a single song on here longer than three minutes and two of which are shorter than two-and-a-half minutes. I know that this is being posted when it’s being posted, but this was written immediately after KEYVITUP’s song. And while it’s not nearly as aggressively discordant, the spirit of the song is in the same circle in the Venn Diagram. We’ve got some strings lurking behind the slow drums and synth, and while they’re not a constant addition, they show up to tease instead.  I waited until I had access to my laptop again before getting to work on this. I figured if I was going to do this little blog thing, I'd do it right, and while these won't be properly traditional reviews, I'd still like to share my thoughts, such as they are. I'm going to preface this with saying that if y'all have been following this for a while, y'all know that I have opinions on certain things, but I also recognize that this is an incredibly difficult job that they do, and they deserve our respect because they have to put up with a lot and have to do a lot in order to have this profession. It's part of why I have frustrations with debuting minors, especially fifteen or younger, and with short songs and with bland songs. But in most instances, the idols are hella talented. Well, Ros é is still going strong this week. I'm genuinely impressed even as I'd like to cry a little from the fact that she's not actively promoting on the music shows (which isn't a problem in and of itself) so there are no stages I can share with you. As happy as I am that she's continuing to do so well, and I am, I want a little bit more variation so you all can get more variation in the videos. MCountdown didn't have a winner this week, and THE BOYZ essentially took aespa's spots from last week. But Kep1er got their first win for TIPI-TAP! Release date: 2024 October 15 Album tracklist: Stuck , Thorns, Face Time, Gossip Album runtime: 11 minutes  Most of what I know about 82MAJOR is that the group has the younger brother of P1Harmony's Keeho. And the little I've seen of him seems to say that he is close to a carbon copy, which I think is adorable and may drive him a little nuts. Or he loves it. Either way, it's inescapable. And not a song on the album is over three minutes long. Sigh. This song has a lot of the urban sounds embedded in the instrumentals. Although, hilariously, I listened to it a little bit to get the vibe off it before I fell asleep, and then I switched to a different album, Seventeen's new one. First song on the list was Eyes on you , featuring almost identical urban-esque instrumental at the beginning especially. That's funny. It also reminds me of Fire , also by Seventeen.
