Song Review:: NOWZ: IGNITION- Fly to the Youth (feat. Yuqi) {Pre-Release}

Image
Release date: 2025 July 9 Album tracklist: Fly to the youth (feat. Yuqi), EVERGLOW , Problem Child, Louder, DAY_AND Album runtime: 11 minutes  After watching the music video for Snowy Summer , the one for EVERGLOW was next up on my list. So, I figured I'd do that one next. Well, the pre-release with Yuqi because it came out first. I have high, high hopes that I may finally get the thing I've been wanting since they debuted, which is a less rappy title track. I kind of got one with the BEAST remake that I'm in love with, but I've been waiting for a non-remake title track that I love. I've got a good feeling about this album, and I've been holding off on listening to any of the songs until I could do these reviews. Fingers crossed. Although, even if I don't get one with IGNITION, I'll still be holding out for one. It'll happen. Also, I don't know if I mentioned this with either of my earlier reviews, but the reason why I'm being so stubborn ab...

Song Review:: NOWZ: Let's get it

Image
Release date: 2024 November 21 Album tracklist: Let's get it Album runtime: 3 minutes  This is the only song on the single. Please let me really like this one. I'm just waiting for a title track to love. For those of you who don't know the group, they're CUBE's newest boy group, debuted at the beginning of the year, and they were all full adults at debut. They've covered a B2ST song, which I absolutely loved, but I have yet to fall in love with one of their own title tracks. I know it'll happen. I'm just waiting for that day. I'm also waiting for them to release a title track that would round up to three-and-a-half minutes, again other than the B2ST remake, but I feel like I'm just being picky at that point. Not going to lie, from the first little bit, I was expecting something more like APT.  to come out of them, which would have been fine, but instead it went the exact opposite direction into very traditional, and now I'm thinking of old gh...

Song Review:: NOWZ: Nowhere- Why Not?

Image
Release date: 2024 August 27 Album tracklist: Why Not? , Heart vs Head, Troublesome Album runtime: 9 minutes      Once again, I am left with an annoyed feeling that I just do not like the title track nearly as well as I do B-sides for Nowadays. But, and this is why I usually leave songs on repeat for some time so I can decide how much I actually like a song, repeated listening has changed it. First impressions of Why Not?  were not favorable for the song, because I was listening to it in context of the other two songs, both of which I really enjoy and were instantly added to my regular listening playlist, much like Ticket  and Rainy Day  before them. And I didn't like Why Not? as well. I still don't, but isolated listening has softened the annoyance somewhat. Which bodes well for it. I'm not sure how well the song will age, because it does sound incredibly fifth gen and I'm really not a fan of the shouting, but at least I don't think there's actually as mu...
