I don't think. Thankfully. And then I realized that I'd only read part  of the album title and felt silly. And that, everyone, is the importance of reading everything and not just assuming. And you know what I'm going to say about the runtime. So I'm just going to point it out. I had to pause it after that intro and pray that the song would live up to the absolute drama of it. I was prepared to be disappointed, and I thought I was going to be, but then that simple beat turned weird and I knew. This is amazing and dramatic and there's so much going on that even my brain with its need for interesting and varied stimulation is completely satisfied by this. What in the Backstreet Boys is this? I mean, it's a full album, so they have the room for it and also not have half the album get the music video treatment, but this is also the third one. Not that I'm complaining, because I liked this song before and am excited for it to get the music video treatment. If that guitar at the beginning was an acoustic, I'd fully believe that this was a country song from about 2010. That was when the songs started shifting back to more of a rock sound after the pop infused 90s and middle of the 00s, but the electric bit in the middle thumbs its nose at the assessment. Which is both funny and adorable. There's something I really like about sad songs being set against rock instrumentals, like "I'm SAD and having EMOTIONS and AWKSJFHHSJSIDCH...

So.  EPEX and/or their company seem to be adopting a different, ambitious strategy. Two studio albums in a year rather than dropping mini albums and singles. But that also means they've probably been incredibly busy this year. Which is tentatively good. I do worry about overwork, but I like that for the moment, even if there are only two songs which are longer than three minutes. There's another song that this one reminds me of, at least as far as the instrumentals go. I couldn't tell you what it was but if anyone has any ideas, let me know. Which means I get a lot to do to update this review when we do get information. Oh, well. That's fine. Also, that's two full albums in a year, and I really hope that they both do well to encourage this kind of behavior, even if this song has to be rounded up to three minutes. Wow. The irony of having the instrumentals having a very similar sequence of notes to LOVE, MONEY, FAME  by Seventeen, which came out the exact same day, is kind of funny, but where the Seventeen song is Latin sounding, this one is a lot more EDM.
