Song Review:: New-L: So Sweet- Sweet Palace

Release date: 2025 July 18 Album tracklist:  Sweet Palace , Sweet Palace (Inst) Album runtime: 6 minutes  Okay, so if y'all remember, one of my first debuts that I covered was the girl group New-L , and if I remember correctly, I mentioned that I hoped the group could work out some bugs in their next update in a video game metaphor. And I was actually just thinking about them a few weeks ago because they hadn't had a new release, I hadn't heard anything about them, and I was a little worried that they were going to be yet another group that debuts and then disbands within a year with only that release. But, I'm pleased to see this, even if it is only a single, because it means the group is still going. It also means, that of course I'm going to talk about it because if I can convince even one person to listen to them, then I will be satisfied. I think there's some history there, but honestly, I have no idea what it would be. There was a twitter post that mentioned something, if you're curious. But, they're all adults! The youngest one is 23 and a model, and the oldest one is also a member of the group Rumble-G (which is now a duo) and is the first Burmese artist to debut in South Korea. The middle member has the same birthday as NU'EST (March 15th) and, like the maknae, is a model. So, let's get to it! There is a lot happening in the instrumentals. It has moments where it quiets, but for the most part, it's a wall of sound that is a little distracting from the vocals.
