Song Review:: Xdinary Heroes: Beautiful Mind- Beautiful Life

Image
Release date: 2025 March 24 Album track list: FIGHT ME, Beautiful Life , more than i like, Diamond, Supernatural, George the Lobster, BBB (Beautiful but Better) Album runtime: 23 mi nutes  Another release that I was looking forward to but hadn't gotten a chance to get to yet. I've got a noticeable soft spot for the proper bands, and I really hope it's been noticeable. I'm pleased to see what this new offering from them is. Also, can I just say how much I appreciate the names of these songs? Because some of those are both hysterical and lovely. I love proper rock music. Clocking in at almost four and a half minutes, this song absolutes gives you spots to breathe, which is important in a song this long, and also gives it different textures through the song, and also lets the guitarist and the drummer a moment to pause and rest. There are like three spots where the song reminds me of other songs, and while I can't fully place any of them, my brain is trying to override...

Song Review:: Xdinary Heroes: Live and Fall- Night before the end

Image
Release date: 2024 October 14 Album tracklist: XH_WORLD_75, Night before the end , Save me, Boy Comics, iNSTEAD! ,  FEELING NICE, XYMPHONY, LOVE and FEAR Album runtime: 24 minutes  Ah-hah! They did the thing where they put their singles in a single album! And by that I don't mean an album which is a single. I mean one album. Just to be clear. But it does include the song that feels like such a 2009 throwback, I have a hard time dealing with the fact that it didn't come out in 2009. I am of course referring to iNSTEAD! .  By contrast, the title track of this  album starts out so soft, it's almost hard to believe it's the same group, and immediately sets the tone for the rest of the song, which is one of those songs you sing angrily while crying your eyes out. The gentle guitar is a soft acknowledgement and an invitation to rest a moment, before the rest of the instruments explode with them in a fit of angry-sad for the first chorus. The instrumentals never get that so...

Song Review:: Xdinary Heroes (feat. YB Yoon Do Hyun): Open ♭eta v6.4- iNSTEAD!

Release date: 2024 September 09 Album tracklist:  iNSTEAD!,  XH_stone_75 Album runtime: 4 minutes Well, the sound teleported me back to emo rock of 2009. So that's my first impression.  That's it. That's really all I have. This sounds exactly  like emo rock of 2009 with some screamo mixed in. Skillet is where my brain is going to as an analogous band, though they have lower voices. Even listening to some of the music that actually came out in 2009 doesn't catapult me back in time like that. What's funny is I can't even want it to be longer. The music says I am fourteen. My back says I am not. This does make it easy on me as I know exactly which playlist this is going in though. Well, I've got a couple it'll fit into.  I can't comment on the screaming, but I think I like it slightly better than the shouting. Seriously, though. Wow. The vocalists are good. They remind me of Linkin Park and 3 Doors Down. But I'm literally just so distracted by the...
