Release date: 2026 August 10 Album track list: Ever2Late!, Hey Hi, Pop Off Pop Off , SWEET SOUR, Candy Pink Magic Hole Flip Phone , Blue Hour Album runtime: 15 mi nutes  Well, they didn't get a win with this song, so I'll do a review of it because I'm so wildly behind and this way I have to while also being like "Here's this song! You should listen to it! Don't just take my word for it! Feel free to disagree with me!" I don't know what this sounds like yet. I just assume someone is going to disagree with me and that's fine as long as you can articulate why. They're on Underage Protocol, so I can't listen to it like I normally would, but as time marches on, eventually they'll be off it and I'll actually get to listen to their discography. I'm also late enough that I didn't notice that apparently another song from this album had a music video. I need to know what that song sounds like, so I'll be doing that one probably ne...

Almost a full set of stages for you to watch, and almost a clean sweep for a single group too. Well done. And well done to the rookies for their win as well! Very exciting! We love to see this here.  For our extra stages, we have 82MAJOR on ep. 652 of After School Club from 2024 (complete with the MC challenge if you wanted the step-by-step instructions on how to do their challenge), Weki Meki in 2021 (this is a very cute song and I love it), and the extra stage from this week went to Yang Yoseob because I just watched his Kode he did with Minhyun and I thought it was delightful and adorable. As always, the links in the spreadsheet go to my reviews, the link on down for ASC goes to the full episode because things go a little cattywampus when I try to embed the video, and I hope you have a lovely week!   Girl group domination this week! One established powerhouse and one rookie that's setting stages on fire. Metaphorically speaking.  For the extra stages, in honor of Oneus getting a new home after leaving RBW (and I think this might be a good choice for them, tentatively), I snagged one of their After School Club appearances (Ep. 456 from 2021). I also have to say that even though Seoho very clearly was not a fan of the crop top, I love that Jamie was checking in with him. She shouldn't have had to, but I'm glad that she did. And to go with the RBW theme for these two, I'm going to give you a MAMAMOO stage for The Show from back in 2018. And then, for the extra stage from this week, I was actually impressed with the debut song for Navillera, so I decided to make sure to share that one.  The links in the spreadsheets, as always, go to my reviews. And because sometimes the After School Club link gets weird, that goes to the YouTube video. Show Champion: KiiiKiii "4...

Release date: 2026 January 27 Album track list: Delulu, 404 (New Era) , UNDERDOGS, MUNGNYANG, Dizzy, To Me From Me Album runtime: 17 mi nutes  We have a Tablo produced song in this one! I can't listen to it because the group is on Underage Protocol for a bit because the maknae was fourteen at debut, but that's exciting for Future Fangirl. Unless that one gets a music video. Then I can listen to it early if I review it. It's a good motivation. Also, I'm always delighted by their album and song titles. They're a lot of fun, and I like that for them. They're young and rookies. They don't need the serious songs yet. Let them have their fun. And while the album runtime is a bit too short, the title track hits three minutes, so the disappointment is definitely less. Wait. Wait. Did I review the Tablo song? Hold up. I did not. I'm really hoping I'm not having deja vu again. Only partially. I had it on my list to do and then never did it. I was not expecting...

Given my disposition, I'm sure you're already expecting me to ramble a bit here at the beginning to introduce everything and then get out of the way so you can get to what you and I both know is what you're interested in. I'm not going to. Instead, my thoughts will go down at the bottom, which you can read at your leisure after watching all the performances and then seeing the winners.   This is the first week in a hot minute where I've actually already had the songs reviewed in full! It helps that we had two repeats, but I'm also excited about the two first wins for songs on here! And we got a Triple Crown for JUMP even though it has not been promoted! Whoo! The Triple Crown also means that next week, we're guaranteed a new win on Inkigayo, which is helpful for the other groups.  With After School Club still on hiatus, here's the re-run for the week. It's actually pretty fitting because I'm starting to migrate into wanting to actually learn about the members in the group rather than simply loving every single song I hear from them. That's right, it's episode 458, featuring a 2021 Dreamcatcher! This was convenient because it made it easier for me to connect some of those personalities to their names. We'll see if it sticks. In the meantime, the group is wildly loud and chaotic, and I mean this in the best way. Same kind of idol as...

Release date: 2025 August 6 Album tracklist: Dancing Alone , 딸기게임 (Strawberry Cheesegame) Album runtime: 7 minutes  I had to do a little bit of a refresher on this group because I couldn't remember if they were under Underage Protocol or not (They are because the maknae is fourteen). So far I've been liking the vibes from them that we've gotten so far and they've exhibited a pretty decent range, though my own sample size for that statement is admittedly rather low because I've only listened to I DO ME and BTG from their recent debut and only for the reviews. I do have to say I'm pleased that both songs are over three minutes. There's a gentleness to the instrumentals at the beginning that gets a little bit pushed aside once the song proper starts. It kind of makes me feel like prom in the 1990s. Early 90s maybe? The drumline and bass are really the only thing that keeps the song from being so soft that it doesn't have presence while simultaneously ho...

Triple Crown came in this week, which is so exciting. Don't get me wrong. But you know what's more exciting? Two rookie groups got their first ever wins! Y'all, I cannot even pretend not to be ecstatic over this. This is so exciting! Congrats to KiiiKiii and Close Your Eyes! Whoo!!!!  For the ASC performance this week since they're still on hiatus, I just scrolled randomly through the playlist and the one I stopped on was the one I offer to you all, and I'm very pleased to say that here is Purple Kiss's attendance for Sweet Juice  back in 2023. MC's were Aron from NU'EST as well as Allen and Taeyoung of Cravity. And I have to say, I absolutely love Taeyoung's hair this episode. He looks so good. And it's also really cute that the members did the fanchant while the one fan was doing the dance cover. But you know what's really funny? The voice changing segment. You guys will enjoy it. Release date: 2025 March 24 Album track list: DEBUT SONG, GROUNDWORK, I DO ME , THERE THEY GO, BTG , 한 개뿐인 (ONE OFF) Album runtime: 16 mi nutes  I grabbed another girl group out of the long list of drafts I've got on hand because I figured it was high time that I take a look at KiiiKiii's debut. Congrats to them on their successful debut! They're a week old now! To recap, we're in Underage Protocol for this as the maknae is barely fourteen. I'm not peeved by this at all as you can all clearly tell by my insistence on letting everyone know when a group has a severely underage maknae. Also as a funny note, I think it's hilarious that their debut song is not Debut Song. The combination of whatever instrument that is that opens the song and the skittering beat that plops down on top of that instrument is a delightful combination that immediately catches my attention. It's a little spooky, without being too eerie. There's a good energy to this song that contr...

Release date: 2025 March 24 Album track list: DEBUT SONG, GROUNDWORK,  I DO ME , THERE THEY GO,  BTG , 한 개뿐인 (ONE OFF) Album runtime: 16 mi nutes  So this is a pre-debut release, which is something that I generally support. It's a good way to drum up interest from the public before the full debut happens, and gives potential fans something they can use to test the group before they commit. It's almost like a full scene trailer for a movie. And in this case, with the group being a March debut which I gravitate towards for an unknown reason, I'm tentatively excited about this group. But, as they're a debut, I have to check on ages. Debuting under Starship, that makes them IVE's younger sisters. The eldest is eighteen, turning nineteen this year, so that's okay. The maknae, however, turned fourteen two months ago, which is deeply infuriating. So I'm going to underage protocol, which means they get one listen for instrumentals, one for vocals, and at most two fo...
