Just A Little Fangirl Love

Release date: 2026 June 24 Album tracklist: Cosmic , Ring Album runtime: 6 minutes  This is their first release for the year, and ideally (because I know that this is a smaller group, which stresses me out on principle), I'd like to see at least a mini album from them by the end of the year. Preferably a full album, but that's less likely to happen, so I'd be content to have a mini album from them. If this doesn't have some solid choreography, this instrumental is wasted on the song. We've got some sleek R&B music here with a strong beat that's quite repetitious, which I'm not overly a fan of to begin with as we know, and there is a tiny bit of a melody working its way through the song that we can hear, although it's not strong enough for my taste. Still, this is a very strong beat that doesn't send my nervous system into a complete tizzy, because it's not a set of multiple aggressive beats stacked and layered over each other to produce the i...

Release date: 2025 September 17 Album tracklist: Love Your Flower Album runtime: 3 minutes  Girl group time! Because I'm late on doing this, but it seems that I don't want to finish the September review without having done this one first. I think I could probably really like this group if I spent more time with them, but then we run the risk of what happens to girl groups when I really like them. I seriously have the worst luck, but unfortunately, I adored Steal Heart .  Ooh, that guitar is fun. The energy is good to keep the song going without it straying too close to being active. What I will say is that sudden energy drop was highly unexpected, especially because the song felt like it was going the route of consistency. Steady beat, a little bit of the grungy guitar, largely non-distracting to support the vocals. The chorus got the predictable uptick in energy, but then the way the instrumental just kind of gets cut out from underneath the song at the start of the second ve...

Release date: 2024 November 14 Album tracklist: CASE#4, Steal Heart , Mission Escape, Trick or Trigg, Feel It Album runtime: 12 minutes  I've heard some really good things about the group and their earlier albums so I'm a little bit excited to see what the fuss is about. Also, everyone was an adult at debut. Yay! The album run time absolutely has me squinting at because why, but I'm also curious because the song titles sound like they may be a cohesive whole. If that is the case, I can forgive the run time a little. Instrumentally and vocally, this song reminds me so much of Britney Spears's ...Baby One More Time , which was honestly not something I was expecting to hear. This song hearkens straight back to the 90s in a way that feels more authentic than most of the recent Y2K knock-offs. The song has a strong, thumping beat and weird, high-pitched warbling (along with some science fiction warbling which is a completely different sound) that as a 90s baby is immediately...
