Just A Little Fangirl Love

Release date: 2026 April 03 Album track list: heal , growing pains , baby blue , this!, before you met me, glass half empty, main attraction, enemies with benefits, on our way, sorry to myself Album runtime: 30 mi nutes  There isn't a capital letter to be seen in those song titles. That is fascinating. Congrats on the new English album, Monsta X! I guess I need to go back and mark some of those songs as pre-releases. This instrumental is so soft. Oh, my goodness. It hits that perfect sweet spot that I remember pop music being like when I was in high school from certain artists of softness and rapturous energy. Can I remember any of them? Not right now, but I'm coming down with a gnarly cold right now. It's however deeply fitting for the fact that I spent the weekend with eight hours of church and I could swear I can hear an organ in spots. It could just be the choir in the background, but I feel strongly enough that there is an organ, or an organ-like instrument there that ...

Release date: 2026 February 06 Album track list:  growing pains Album runtime: 3 mi nutes  Well, here we are, friends. Monsta X has dropped another English single for us (which is a spoiler for me even though I haven't heard it yet.) That does amuse me a little bit because apparently today is my day to cover English tracks because I also covered NOWZ's and posted it today. But that's the part they'd put in the trailer to show the bond they have. I may not like those movies, but they regularly have banger soundtracks. There are multiple ...

Release date: 2026 February 06 Album track list: Hooked Album runtime: 3 mi nutes  Okay, so this song is an English collaboration with Nigel Tay that was released for Valentine's Day. That was an immediate yes. This is a very bright song, the brightest that I think we've heard from them so far, definitely the brightest title track we've gotten from them so far. The energy of the song is playfully high without being frenetic with an added grounded-ness because of how strong that bass guitar is. I recognize that it's not the most interesting thing to be playing for the bass guitarist, but without it, the entire balance of the song would be off.  It's nice to see them show that they can do the rap...
