Just A Little Fangirl Love

  Y'all, I just went down a rabbit hole over INKODE, who we should be getting the second boy group debut announcement from soon. Anyway.  We have three first wins for songs this week! Whoo!!! Congrats to those groups! And I believe one of these may be a first win ever, so that's even cooler! For the extra performances, I went with a pretty recent After School Club with Ep. 664 from 2025 and KickFlip. For the The Show re-run, I'm giving you TOMORROW X TOGETHER back when they were still pretty new in 2021. And the two extra stages for this week went to ifeye and UNCHILD. However, &TEAM dropped a new song and I've recently been sniffing around the group trying to decide if I want to listen to them more, so this is actually a pretty strong sign I should. And while I'm pretty sure that this is a Japanese release, they added the Korean version to the album, so here we are. The funny thing is that they're not even the first HYBE group to drop something this month. ILLIT dropped an OST last week. They also won't be the last because almost every group under HYBE has music expected to be released this month. Which means that we can also expect unpleasantly short songs from all of them because HYBE is the way it is right now and seems to think that shorter songs are better.  What is up! I completely spaced out needing to do this, and time both has no meaning and is soup. Little nerdy D&D reference there for you. Warm you up for the fun times. So, first up, as always, we have the lovely debuts. I covered none of them, and I feel bad about that. So I'll probably snag one or two and do a later review for them. Still, even without that, I'm still going to hand them over to you lovely readers so that you can take a listen and decide if you like any of them. BE:MIN , the subunit of the boy group XEED, now called XD. LUVITA , virtual girl group made up of V-Tuber. Global girl group NWH:I . Girl group ARVVY (who debuted with everyone over twenty, by the way). Girl group E11iVYN (which is only a four-member group, and you pronounce that as "eleven"). &TEAM had their Korean debut (with three accompanying music show wins, and now they have their very own younger brother group, aoen who is going to get a review from me in a couple of days...

  Am I quite disappointed? Yes. But, even being a xikers fan, I'm happy for AHOF for their win. Still! It's not over! I trust that they'll eventually get a win (what I am counting as a win is Wrecking the House being #16 on Billboard, so there's that). Congrats to &TEAM, NMIXX, and AHOF for their music show wins this week!! I feel so bad for the rookie and small groups for this loss. Moving forward, I may include winners from random episodes, because until something replaces the program, I'm going to quietly protest its cancelation and the effect it's going to have. Much like I am with After School Club. This week's re-run is ep. 468 from 2021 featuring a former Wanna One member (eldest and leader) and part of the cast list for one of my favorite kdramas, Let Me Be Your Knight .   This is what happens when I get behind. Groups and soloists I don't expect to get wins get wins and then I have to hurry up with those reviews. Congrats and happy birthday to Lee Chanwon, though! I have no idea who this person is and I'll learn when I do that review (the answer is a trot singer and y'all should take a listen to that voice of his. Wow. I would live in his voice specifically but the song almost made me cry because of how much I love it.) (Also his light stick is one of the cooler ones out there).
