Just A Little Fangirl Love

Hello, hello! Young groups are having their day right now, with a pair of groups getting our wins for this week, one of which is a first win for a song! Very exciting! It's been a lot of BigHit wins the last couple of months or so, but if you noticed, every single week has had at least one Big 4 win since the end of February. For the After School Club re-run, I went with EVERGLOW from 2024 in Ep. 631! There's a lot of discussion about zombies and general horror in the first part of it, which is delightful considering I'm on a horror kick right now and found a new gamer on YouTube who plays almost exclusively horror games. Well, not new. New to me. Anyway, they were cute. And kind of loud in the second part, which I enjoy for a group. For the The Show re-run, I went with BAE173 from back in 2022, and for the extra stage, I went with I.O.I on MCountdown. As always, the links in the spreadsheet go to my reviews and the link down with ASC goes to the full episode.  Show Champ...

Release date: 2025 October 03 Album tracklist: What's wrong? Album runtime: 4 minutes   So apparently neither of these two pre-releases are actually on the mini album. That’s a bit of a surprise and I don’t understand why, but whatever. It’s fine. Also, this is almost a four minute song, so I am happy as a clam right now.  This has a very 80s sound, and I love that for it. What I love more is that there’s a very distinct EDM dance break that completely changes the sound of the song, and there are two separate sections for the dance break. I didn’t like EDM dance breaks until I started listening to K-Pop and now here I am being excited over them. Crazy how your musical taste can change. But what I love most is the even rarer key change. I adore key changes, and it’s not very often that recent K-Pop has a key change. It’s rare enough in music, but recently it’s been harder to find than a Millennial without a crippling caffeine addiction. They really elevate both complexity and v...

Release date: 2025 October 02 Album tracklist: One day Album runtime: 3 minutes  I think technically that title translates to "Will you be my girlfriend for a day?" If that is the case, that's actually a really sweet title and definitely gives me expectations for what the song is going to be like. I believe they're down to five for this comeback? Unless one of them gets to stay active with his group while he's in the survival show group, which makes me eye Wanna One and sigh a little, but it's fine. Doha, I hope you recover well from whatever is ailing you. Those are the Pachelbel's Canon in D chords. I was struggling a little bit with getting this one started, so I decided to color while I listened to it, because I am in actuality a kindergartner (this is a joke). And there I am, peacefully coloring in the pumpkin when my head pops up and I'm staring at my computer because I suddenly heard Rob Paravonian yelling about Pachelbel in my head. I didn...
