So as sad as I am that they left Pledis and are down to five members, I'm hopeful that they have continued and greater success in their new home and are well taken care of. This is their third company, and that can't be easy on the members or the fandom. Still! With new environments come new opportunities! And while I did have to round up, title track and half the songs are over three minutes, so I'm cool with this.
Only took two listens for me to add it to my fave releases of 2025 playlist. Good news for the song, it's got lots of delicious and enthusiastic texture. It's also rock, which I'm naturally inclined to love. But it's the celebratory rock that we're getting for the song, and with the amount of energy it has, I'm perfectly pleased by this. I'm looking forward to the choreography.
"It doesn't matter cause we're better when we're all together." A fabulous reaffirmation for the group. It's smaller, but the ones who are left are fully sticking together, which is a little bittersweet. On the other hand, there's nothing milquetoast about this, which I'm fully seeing as a plus in their departure from Pledis (it's the HYBE problem as I've discussed ad nauseum), even though we don't get as big of a belt at any point as I'd like.
Cute little music video with a summer road trip, chaos, and shenanigans. It would make for a great chick flick, like Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants. It's also doubling down on the sisterhood motif of the lyrics, and providing a pretty heavy dose of comfort both as a reassurance and just as a comfortable song (I'm here for emotional support groups, especially ones that keep fighting). Also, I really like how many Carats are showing up in the comments to support them, as well as the other fandoms I saw.
