I keep forgetting that this group isn't even two yet. They're all over the place. Also as a reminder, as of last December, the entire group is at least eighteen, so if you're one who cares about ages and the entertainment industry as a whole, they're good to go for you. If you don't, then that's fine too and they've been pretty active for how young they are, so you have quite a bit of music to go through. The runtime is a bit of a problem, but you know what? It's fine. I've hit my frustrated limit, and and it is closer to a three-minute average than a two-minute average. So on the whole, could be worse.
It's a very minimalist sort of instrumental for most of it, though the build-up is interesting. This has a lot of the marks of a hip-hop track, with a strong beat and with K-Pop that comes high danceability. I hav4 high hopes for the choreography based on this instrumental. I'd also say that this would probably make a good song for a workout playlist, especially and perhaps weirdly specifically a cycling one. It's got a good BPM for it.
That vocal fry. Ooh, that's a nice texture in an otherwise very smooth song. It could make the promotions on music shows and concerts a little difficult and I deeply hope that he and the company are taking very good care of his voice. Even without that one in the mix for consideration, there's actually quite a nice range of vocals. We've got higher notes, especially during the ad-libs. some mid-range, and then some lower. Some people might find the range in vocal genres happening in this single song to be a little off-putting, which is also fair. Me, I find it very satisfying.
Ah, we have a Rocky music video. Some of that athleticism and flexibility on display is actually incredible. Some of it was really cute. I wasn't wrong about this being a orkout song, and it also looks like the choreography might be a workout in and of itself. So, if you're looking for a new choreography to learn, I'd recommend this one. Also, the chaos at the end made me laugh.
