I missed a title track back in April. Oops. My apologies to the fans and the group. But, here we are with a cute little single that is a bit too short (technically it's under 8 minutes, but it's close enough that I was okay with rounding up to 8). I'm curious about the title and what kind of song we'll be getting. I'm also Skittlez, but I'll take a listen after I'm done with this.

I assume that techno witch is a genre of music somewhere, or at least it is in vibes, because that’s what this song is. There’s an edge to it that keeps the whimsical bits to it from making the song too soft and floaty. Personally, I’m really glad that we’re moving on from that sound in the title tracks, but I digress. I really love the phone button pushing because it catapults me back to when I was young and the handheld receivers. The different parts of the song each have their own distinct sound to them, which helps the listener to be able to know exactly where they are in the song, which is something I appreciate. There’s a lot of lovely variation and I’m stoked about this.

This song could have been so obnoxious about the “eeny meeny miny moe” thing. It could have also been really obnoxious with the “가위바위보” bit too. And it wasn’t on either end. Yes, both phrases are repeated fairly often without being incessant, but there are enough words in between each that it doesn’t feel excessive. There are moments where there is a bit of shouting, but it’s used to highlight or accent the song, rather than to be a dominant feature, so it doesn’t overpower the song. There’s good contrast between the vocalists and the rapper(s). It’s a cute song without being sickly sweet.

Did I actually peg this correctly as techno witch? Huh. It's a very cute music video that relies strongly on the confession, but it's still just kind of sweet. I like this. It's cute.
