This set of song titles brings me so much joy. First of all, the title track? I think that's actually a password, and I love that. I also am wholly in love with the song title "Delulu Solulu". Plus, this feels like an important note, we've had a new member added to the group since the last time I wrote something for this group, and she is not a minor. I still can't listen to them because the maknae is fifteen, but, you know. One day she won't be and hopefully the company won't debut someone that young again. But in the meantime, their reviews are on Underage Review, and I have a playlist just for songs I can't listen to yet but that I like.
That opening has no business going as hard as it does. They're ending the year with rock, and it's glorious. I'm actually kind of sad that I can't listen to the rest of the album, because if this one is any indication, I'm going to love it. The instrumental has quite a lot of personality, most of which is dedicated to quite the good flow of energy. I'm really impressed by this, especially because they've been consistently given full-flavored songs since debut, and this does feel like a natural progression of what they've had previously.
This is such a concert song. I love it. We've got a great range of vocals here, with the rapping in an excellent spot to give a much-needed twist to a song that has to maximize the runtime because it's frankly awful. But I really, really like this one. I'd have added it to my regular listening playlists if it weren't for the tiny Underage Protocol issues. I'm still pleased with this though.
Ah. The song title makes sense now. It's a reference to the lyrics: "'I' became an exclamation mark". That's nice. That's clever. I appreciate that a lot. But, generally speaking, this is a wildly adorable music video with an actual storyline. It's not super strong and is for the most part leaning more to vibes and visuals still, but there's enough of a storyline that I'm satisfied. I wish I could listen to the rest of the album.
