Song Review:: M.O.N.T: Keep It Slow

  • Release date: 2026 March 12
  • Album tracklist: Keep It Slow, Keep It Slow - Instrumental
  • Album runtime: 6 minutes

This trio is so insanely talented. Between the vocals and the songwriting, I'm just regularly impressed by them. And! They hit the magical seventh anniversary this January, which is a huge relief. We're probably going to see a lot of groups disband this year, and I'm glad that they're not one of them.

While this has some very smooth bits to the instrumental, with a guitar that acts up a little in a very fun way, there is also a section that reminds me of playing around on the presets on the keyboard I got from my grandparents because I didn't have a piano at home. This is going to be such a solid base for their voices. I'm excited.

This is a good R&B track. Smooth instrumental. Smooth vocals. And this is also a love song, although there are a couple of spots where I'm surprised by how upbeat the instrumental is when it sounds like the lyrics are trying to woo. It's an interesting combination. This style doesn't generally do it for me, but I imagine that for people who do like this style, this will probably be really good. That being said, we've got some very nice harmonies, which I am very much about.

This is a fascinating music video, very dark, but I like the spinning round table style. It's a pretty simple music video, but it also makes them look very good. This is nice.
