Hey, I just added one of his songs to my daily K-Pop playlist a couple of weeks ago! That's pretty good timing! Let's see what he has for us this time!
What in the 80s techno is this? I'm kind of stuck on that, but I think this will have a lot of danceability, so I'm hoping that this has some strong choreography to it. I imagine it will because I think Kino is the main dancer, but until I see it, it's not confirmed. You know? The guitar does a lot to help me not want to crawl out of my skin listening to this song (which is fine, that's a me problem because there's technically nothing wrong with it), and it's got some interesting sirens or whistles in a couple of spots. There are also some squeaks that had me tipping my head to the side a little.
Because I'm pretty sure that this is going to have some very strong choreography, my expectations for the vocals are a lot lower, though this is a member of Pentagon so I feel a little silly for having those expectations lowered. There's not a lot of variation or big range on display here, though we do get one big yell that helps to break up the very middle-of-the-road vocals we're getting. But we do get both singing and rapping here, so there is that.
We got a return of the late 00s, early 10s eyeliner here. I'm very happy. I'm concerned about the amount of body glitter though, though hilariously my first thought was "Is this suddenly a Twilight reference?" With regard to this music video, I don't. Don't what? Not a clue. I'm not sure what to make of it. Other than I like the eyeliner and I like how it was filmed to mimic home movies on Super8 film. It might take a couple of days to figure out how I feel about it. But you don't have a couple of days. So... This is a music video. There is a storyline. I have feelings, but I don't know what they are. This is possibly the most useless review I've ever made.
