Again, we have a group that I’m not sure where we’re at with the Underage Protocol, nor do I actually know anything about them because of the aforementioned productive captivity during the plane ride that I’m on, but this is either their debut song or a pre-debut song. So, we’re going to temporarily put them on Underage Protocol until I can find out if they’re actually supposed to be on there or not. Better safe than sorry. I’ll also update this with more information when I get back. They need to be on Underage Protocol unfortunately because they will have four members under eighteen at debut later this month. Ah! And one of the members is a trainee over at JR's company, Evermore Entertainment. And another one is Keita's younger sister. Nice.
Oh, that’s an interesting beat. It sounds like a wooden instrument of some sort, but despite the lightness of that beat, there’s a simultaneous grunginess and weight to the song that I really am liking. To be fair, though, that’s part of the reason why I like the combination of the wooden instrument and whatever is going on with the guitar and such. If this doesn’t have to be on Underage Protocol, then I’d be curious to let it sit on repeat for a bit because I highly suspect that this would end up there if I could spend some time just listening to it.
This isn’t a shouty repetition because the rhythm is a lot more chant-like. I appreciate that slightly more, but the amount of repetition this song has should actually irritate me. And yet, it doesn’t. I think it’ll actually end up being a fun concert song because that part is one of those that is going to be a fan favorite at concerts. The audience participation potential is very high. I’d like to hear more from them, some bigger vocals, a little bit more ferocity because right now they’re feeling a little bit like i-dle, but this has definite potential. I hope they’re not on Underage Protocol because that would in fact just annoy me.
It's a nice music video. It's not quite as colorful as I'd like. But there is quite a bit of color. The vibe is here though. I like that.
