Congrats on the music show even though this is super late! I also hear this may have gotten an All Kill? Congrats for that as well. And the quality of this survival show group had so many of them end up in other groups, including the two who did not participate in the reunion and comeback.
I like how pleasant this is. It's remarkably Stranger Things in terms of the instrumental, but only because it's got a bit of that 80s techno flavoring rather than it being a full dish of it, like a curry potato salad rather than a bowl of curry, if that makes sense. There's a softness to the song in some places, especially there near the end, that is quite suitable for a reunion song, and I love that there's an entire section where it's just a guitar for the instrumental, because while it isn't actually a cappella, it's quiet enough that you may miss it, but it allows for a support to still be present.
You know, this group really did have good voices, and they still do, just updated because they've gotten a little older. Not that they didn't already sound good. But even I know that I.O.I has some incredible vocalists. It's all singing for this song, although I'm not sure if any of them are rappers to start with, but they sound great. The end of the song with the "la la la"s and the ad-libs? Beautiful. I have a feeling this may be a full group ending. Fingers crossed.
This is cute. I imagine this is incredibly emotional for their Andgungie (and/or anything else they were called prior to their disbandment). In case anyone decides to submit this, but I really like how the song starts with each of the members on their own before coming together and being all smiley again.
