With how behind I am, is it wise to do an OST when there are probably at least a couple hundred songs I should do? No. But my Stay friend is very excited about this song, so I'm going to do this for her. Also, I'm starting off November strong, so it's currently okay.
One good thing about OSTs is that we regularly get the instrumental version as well, which is helpful for my reviews because then I can't be distracted by the vocals. Oh, this is a jaunty little instrumental. I was just thinking about how it sounded like the soundtrack to a movie from the fifties and then it got a bit funky. And then it got a little bit weird. And then I thought I was hearing things. The amount of variation in this instrumental is ludicrously high, and I couldn't be happier. This is a very fun instrumental with a little bit for everyone.
We've got a little bit of vibrato coming out of I.N here. Very nice. Interestingly, as much as the instrumental has a lot of variation, we've got decent amounts of variation in what's going on with his voice as well. We've got a little bit of vibrato and some vocal effects on top of the nice steadiness that he's got. You know, I don't think I.N gets enough credit for just how solid of a singer he is. I know a lot of people focus on Seungmin as the main vocalist or Lee Know because that man just has a pretty voice or Han because there's very little he can't do, but I think this song does an excellent job of showing off how versatile I.N's voice is.
Why does this music video, which is taken from scenes from the drama I assume, remind me of Ouran High School Host Club? If you know what that is, kiss kiss fall in love. If you don't, there's no way I can describe it to you without sounding insane. It's even got a vase.
