Look, I've never heard of this artist before. But the album title? Obviously I'm going to be taking a look because that's hilarious. So for everyone else's awareness, Jang Beom June is a singer-songwriter, married to an actress and they have two kids. He debuted in 2011 as part of the indie rock trio Busker Busker and were also on Superstar K3, where they were the runner-ups. Though they haven't been active as a band in over a decade, I would like to mention that they did get a Daesang at the 2012 Melon Music Awards and Jang Beom June has won both Singer of the Year at the 2017 Gaon Chart Music Awards and Top 12 at the 2018 Melon Music Awards, so that's pretty impressive. With this album specifically, the eighteen songs make for an average run time of almost three and a half minutes per song, and I could not be happier. The shortest song on the list seems to be the English version of Ballad seems to be your taste coming in at under two minutes, and even the Korean version is under two and a half minutes. But that's fine because there are also four songs hovering around the four and a half minute mark. I'm really curious about this though because I have no expectations nor really any sort of base for him. Am I going to listen to one of the other songs first? Yes, because I want to get a feel for him first.

This is an incredibly steady instrumental without a lot of variation. It also follows the melody of the vocals more than almost any other song I've heard come out of the K-Pop sphere lately. Am I sure that this is K-Pop? Nope. If I remove the language from the song, I could easily be listening to an indie bluegrass song, though it's got sections where it veers more into a more classic band sound. Alternatively, I could also be listening to a French song, because it's got the same minimalistic chords and note progressions that I hear in French music, especially the more folk music.

This is actually an incredibly French song, and even though I know that this song is in Korean, because I'm looking at the lyrics right now, and they're definitely in Korean. This is a very comforting sort of love song, soft, peaceful, and incredibly repetitious. If you were wanting to work on learning Korean from music, I'd recommend using this one because it's got so much repetition that it feels kind of like it never ends, and it's slow enough that if the language is more difficult to get out of your mouth, you've got the time to get the words out of your mouth.

Apparently this may actually be the OST for a drama called "History of Losers". Judging by this music video, it's adorable and cute and fluffy.
