I did take a quick check on ages because even though they debuted in 2022, that doesn't guarantee adulthood at this point. But we're good! I'm vaguely familiar with this group, mostly because one of their songs was covered on Boys Planet II, but otherwise, this will be a new and interesting listen for me.
Ooh, I like that the song starts off with film projector sound effects. That's thoroughly appropriate for the title of the song. There's also a bright jauntiness to the instrumental. Actually, yeah, "jaunty" is the correct word to describe this song. The piano and the drums do a great job of putting a sense of spring into the song, but then there are brass instruments that pop in just to say hi and inject a quick shot of energy. There are also some very pointed rests here in the instrumental. But this song is one that I just want to dance and vibe to. I may actually put this is my roadtrip playlist. That's how much I'm enjoying this.
Vocally as well, the song is very bright. It's a fairly high song, but there are a couple of vocal runs in there that open up the sound and we get to hear some vibrato, which has me practically over the moon. This is going to end up being an encore song. I'm calling it now. I can see the performance and the confetti and the light sticks waving and them interacting with the fans. I have no idea what their light sticks look like, if they have any, but I know it's going to happen.
I love the beginning, even if I'm not entirely sure what they're saying. It's such a cute music video. They look like they had fun. The sweaters and the short skirts are a bit interesting just because temperature and time of year, but they look cute. It's also technically more of a performance video, but, again, this is adorable.
