I'm glad to see his album is out, because I know that there are a lot of Monbebes who were looking forward to it. That makes me excited, even if I'm not as familiar with his work. He does remind me a lot of Hoshi from Seventeen, so I'm inclined to see him positively because I adore Hoshi and given the general friendship between the two groups, I'm also inclined to look forward to anything Monsta X does. While this is not the shortest song on the album, which does take a bit of work, the title track is still under two-and-a-half minutes.
This has that very specific BMP and beat that makes for an excellent work out song. This one feels like it could be a weightlifting song specifically, because there's a weight to the song that is so wonderfully contrasted with the whistling. Very well balanced. And there isn't an abundance of repetition, which is so important with a song of this style. Instead, we've got multiple different distinct, but related, sections that are used to compliment the rapping.
That's so cool that he used the clip of Mohammed Ali saying that. I was wondering how that feature was going to be included and that question got answered immediately, and then using that in the repetition? Yes. So much yes. So I know that I, traditionally, am not overly fond of rapping. However, Joohoney is apparently good enough that I believe his rapping. Which is not all that common. Kudos to him.
Those dimples he's got are not fair. I think the funniest part was the bee vibing out to the song. On a more serious note, this is exactly what it seems to be, and while that may not the be most intense of choreography, in order to get the vibe right, I anticipate that it would still be quite difficult.
