There are so many songs I could do. But I also really like CNBLUE and even though I don't do a lot of Japanese releases, I'm choosing to do this one regardless. The album doesn't actually come out until the 21st, so I don't know how long this is going to be, but the title track is four minutes so I'll leave that as a placeholder until this is actually released.
Listen to that starting guitar. It's so weighty. That weightiness carries through a lot of the song and gives it some very nice heft. But you know what has my attention? The violin. I was not expecting that from this band, but any time a violin shows up, the song has my attention. This is gloriously cinematic in a most wonderful way. This is just settled in a way I really love to see. And I love how the song just gently ends with a slight upturn.
As expected of a band that's survived as long as they have, they have some very good voices. This round of songs you're going to be getting today is vocally rich in a couple of different ways. But the harmonies in this song are completely swoonworthy. And the best part is that in the background you've got a choir. The song has been elevated vocally. This is what I want to be hearing. It's soft velvet hiding the power of their voices. Beautiful.
I like how everyone involved in this music video is in the description. It's a very simple music video, but the vibes are here and the metaphor is doing its job.
